Football: Marion downs Mercer 35-15
The Titans were one play away from a fourth quarter lead, but after lucky bounces through the game the luck swung back toward Marion in an eventual 35-15 loss.
Marion County (4-2) used a varied rushing attack proved to be too much over four quarters, while Mercer’s big-play ability kept them in the running.

Lady Titans edge Marion 2-1 in game two of doubleheader
Mercer is now 2-3, picking up a win in their first district game of the season.
Missing two starters, the team buckled down on defense and came out on top in the second game of Mercer’s MYSA night doubleheader.

Mercer boys roll past Marion 1-0
The Titans soccer squad won their fifth game of the season with a single goal Thursday night.
Mercer’s Tate Spivey had the only goal of the night and the team was able to out-hustle Marion to close out the game.
