Last-minute changes push Lady Titans over Lincoln County
Sitting on the bench for an hour after losing the first game of the season, coach Jennifer Grimes decided it was time for a change.
After watching her team convert zero goals from 27 shots against Model, Grimes decided to swap positions, formations and made some wholesale changes to the Lady Titans gameplan for a more offense-oriented team.
And it worked.

Lady Titans shutout, Model wins 3-0
Mercer County’s girls soccer team kept it close but lost focus late, falling to Model 3-0 Thursday night at home. Mercer had 27 shots on goal but was unable to convert for a score, according to coach Jennifer Grimes.
